The SB series sand pumps have been developed and manufactured as supporting pumps based on the characteristics of petroleum & natural gas drilling equipment.With axial-suction structures and wear-resistant cast iron for flow-passing parts employed,these pumps are suitable for delivering corrosive drilling liquid that contains suspended pellets and other similar liquids,and also the best supporting pumps for sand removers,mud removers and mixing funnel,and ideal pouring pumps for mud pumps as well.During design of their parameters,that supporting equipment can run under the best operating mode has been fully considered.As a result,these pumps have the advantages of high universality & exchangeability,little shaft leakage, high reliability,long service life and convenient maintenance,etc.
    The SB series sand pumps include two typesclockwise pumps and anti-clockwise pumps.Clockwise pumps and anti-clockwise pumps have basically the same outline dimensions and installation dimensions except thawhen seeing from suction end,for clockwise pump,the volute discharge pipe is on left,and pump shaft revolves in clockwise directionfor anti-clockwise pump,the volute discharge pipe is on right, and pump shaft revolves in anti-clockwise direction.We recommend that the SB68 sand pump is used for drilling machines of 3,200m drilling depth or above and the SB56is used for those of 2,500m or below .
    There are two models of seals in the SB series sand pumps,i.e. mechanical seal and compound seal.The compound seal uses auxiliary impeller,special oil seal and packing seal.Main seal of machine seal is mechanical seal that is with a long service life,and auxiliary seal of machine seal is packing seal to prevent occurrence of accidents.The practice demonstrates that the seals of SB series sand pumps are reliable,and convenient for maintenance.
    The shaft seals of SB series sand pumps are lubricated with grease,and bearings are lubricated with machine oil.Since bearing covers at two ends of bearings are equipped with grease injectors,bearings can be lubricated with grease as well.
    Both inlet flanges and outlet flanges of SB series sand pumps are with two series standard dimensions, in metric system for domestic customers and in English system for foreign customers.
