Small To Medium Diamond Size

D41 is typically set with 4 to 12 stone -per- carat natural diamonds for drilling hard, dense formations with high compressive strength and moderate abrasion. It is used in both motor and rotary applications.

Crown Profile
B profile maximizes diamond concentration across nose to ensure even diamond wear. Transition zones across face of bit are reduced, preventing excessive point loading, minimum cutter breakage and better performance in hard, abrasive formations.

Feeder/Collector Hydraulics
D41 is designed with cross pad for maximum cooling of diamonds. Fluid is drown across diamond pads from high pressure feeders into low pressure collectors. The configuration allows greater diamond density across nose to improve bit life.

Natural Diamond Gauge
Because of their super wear resistance natural diamonds are used for gauge protection. The feature ensures consistence of hole size maintained throughout their entire bit run. A full gauge hole eliminates reaming and makes sure that bits are not damaged and do not become stuck on subsequent trips.
